Eligibility
This is one of the last remaining true, open championships. All professionals and amateurs are eligible. Contestants are NOT required to reside on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Starting Field/Format
Approximately 90 contestants. 54-hole stroke play, with a cut to top half of the field and ties after 36-holes (based on full field.) If less than full field, we will not cut to less than 20 players plus ties after 36-holes.
Purse
$10,000.00 estimated total purse (based on 2007 numbers.) Amateurs who make the 36-hole cut will be awarded gift certificates.
Entry Fees
Amateurs: $180
MGCGA Club Professionals: $250
Other Professionals: $350
Registration and payment will be made online at www.GolfCoast.com.
MGCGA Club Professionals are any PGA member, PGA Apprentice, and any club professionals employed on a full time basis at an MGCGA member facility.
All entry fees are payable by credit card via www.GolfCoast.com.
Entry Deadline
Entry and payment deadline for the Gulf Coast Open proper will be on Monday, August 4th at 5:00pm.

Dress Code/Spike Policy
Proper golf attire is required. Bermuda-length shorts are permitted during qualifying rounds and the championship proper. Players must present a neat appearance in both clothing and personal grooming. The Gulf Coast Open has a soft-spike preferred policy.
Transportation
Players are permitted to use golf carts during qualifying rounds and the championship proper. Additional golf cars for spectators must be coordinated with each host facility and host facilities may require an additional | | Entry Form |
