Mississippi Senior Open

Tee Times will begin at 8:30A.M. daily
Entry Fee: $125 per player; includes green fee, golf cart, range balls and PRIZES!!!
Format: 36-Holes Individual Stroke Play. There will be an overall champion with age divisions. THE COMMITTEE WILL RECOGNIZE AND AWARD PRIZES TO THE TOP 3 FINISHERS IN THE FOLLOWING AGE GROUPS (BASED ON A MINIMUM OF 6 PLAYERS IN THE DIVISION):
Senior (age 50 – 59)
Super Senior (age 60 – 69)
Grand Master (age 70 - 79)
Great Grand Master (age 80 and over)
All play will take place from the same tees at approximately 6,000-6,200 yards so that an overall champion can be determined, regardless of age division. Prizes will be awarded to the top 33% of the overall field (ex. Tournament Field contains 60 players then 20 places will receive prizes.) Professional Seniors will receive cash prizes.
Eligibility: Open to all amateur and professional senior golfers age 50 and over by October 31st, 2009 in good standing with a current USGA Handicap Index of 16.0 or better.
Entry Deadline: Must receive full payment by 4:00 P.M. Monday, October 26th or full field of 60 players. (Late entries can be accepted by the sole discretion of the Tournament Committee and will incur a $25 late fee per player in addition to appropriate event fees.)
